FRIDGE WITCH

The Legend of the Fridge Witch

Before recipes were written, they were whispered.

Born in the year 1387 BR (Before Refrigeration), the Fridge Witch emerged from a half-melted block of butter during a full moon. Her first spell? A suspicious but successful leftovers stew.

Cast out by traditional chefs for daring to combine random ingredients without measuring, she became a practitioner of kitchen alchemy — crafting easy meals from whatever’s in the fridge.

Her magical errors are legendary. In 1612, she caused the Great Dijon Explosion, and in 1740 she challenged the Pantry Prophetess of Portugal to conjure the perfect clean-out-the-fridge dinner. No one remembers who won.

Her enemies include:

She believes in three truths:

  1. Expiry dates are vague suggestions.
  2. Cheese is eternal.
  3. If it looks cursed, it’s probably delicious.

Now, she haunts the internet as a magic meal generator, helping mortals conjure surprising recipes from sad fridge scraps.
Whether it’s half a tomato, leftover rice, or an unopened jar of mystery, the Fridge Witch sees potential where others see garbage.

You don’t choose the Fridge Witch. She chooses your leftovers.
